Crystal's Story...

~~Crystal has swept me off my feet! Despite her size, she has been very easy to handle and mild-mannered during all of our outings. She walks nicely on leash, seems housebroken, and eagerly “sit”s for treats. She was surrendered with a large male dog, has been a mom, and has seemed curious and friendly when we’ve encountered other dogs through a fence. When I toss her a toy she shows fleeting interest — bounding after it but returning empty-mouthed and opting to hop up on the bench with me instead, where she promptly lays across my lap like we’ve known each other forever! She is very cuddly, loves belly rubs and gives kisses. She is SUCH a wonderful, sweet, adorable chunky lady that she could be a legend…the baby hippo that walks on a leash! Maybe you could be the lucky one!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crystal, a Ridgefield Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Ridgefield, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Ridgefield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgefield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgefield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgefield paves the way for another one to be saved.
