Feather is a beautiful and good temperament dog. She is gentle around people and children. She loves dogs of all sizes and gets along well with cats.

Feather is a quiet and mellow girl. She is under loving care in a foster home together with 12 other dogs and 5 cats. She is well-behaved, friendly and gets along well with all the dogs and cats in her foster home. Feather loves her daily walks, enjoys doggie park, and can be left alone when the foster family is busy.

Feather started some basic obedience training, she is one smart girl and knows the commands sit and stay. She walks well on leash and is great on long car rides. Feather is house-trained and crate-trained and will adjust well to a new home given a few days for her to warm up.

Feather along with her 3 other siblings were rescued from a mountain side. This is a place where the rescuer has tried to catch two female dogs for the last couple years but without success.
One July morning she was driving past and saw some movement there that wasn’t the female dog and decided to stop and investigate. When she got to the place she saw four cute fat little puppies but they were surrounded by flies and dirty moldy old food which a feeder left out for them. The food was covered in maggots and flies. The 4 little puppies were also covered in fleas and ticks. The rescuer quickly took them to a vet for a checkup, deworming and flea treatment. Luckily, their blood work came back negative and they came home after a few days resting at the vet.

They were placed straight in a foster home where they have been living up until now. All of Feather's siblings have been adopted and we are hoping that Feather will soon have a loving home to call her own! Please give Feather a chance to live a good life.
