My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Corin 1

Corin 2

Corin 3

Corin is a 9-year-old neutered male Sheltie that needs a Sheltie-smart
family. With a good bit of herding instinct, Corin needs a strong
leader to keep him inline. He has done well in his foster home with
multiple other dogs and a child over 10. But he might just enjoy
being the only dog with a couple of senior humans to dote on him. He
is very companionable with his humans and loves to show off with his
repertoire of tricks - sit, down, wait, shake with either paw, roll
over, play dead, come...and his personal favorite, LOVE.

Corin's family had a change in their living arrangements and could not
keep the little dude. He seemed quite sad initially but has moved
past the sadness now and asked that we write his bio and help him find
the next chapter of his life. He is completely housebroken, either
with or without a doggie door. Corin will come with all of his
treasures, crate, food, toys, a car seat belt and fancy dishes. His
favorite treats are all packed up too. And does this guy love to
play! He chases balls and brings them back for you to throw again.
He carries stuffed animal friends around and delights in wiggling them
at you with a smile. And he will drop the balls and stufties when you
ask him to.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Policies and Guidelines and, if we sound like the right group for you, proceed to the online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email.  You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us. We will look forward to hearing from you as well.
