Tyler's Story...
Tyler is a very sweet boy, just under a year old. We're not sure about Dad, but his mom was a border collie. He was rescued off the streets with his mom and siblings when he was very young.

Tyler loves everyone and everything, both big and small. He does not have a mean bone in his body - even the chihuahua and the cats in his foster home boss him around! He is 100% housebroken and crate trained, and knows to sit for a treat. He loves to play, so a home with another doggie playmate would be ideal.

He is full grown at about 65 pounds, so if you are looking for some big love in your life, please consider adopting Tyler!

For more info, please contact his foster mom at amy@e-medico.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyler, a Sugar Land Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Sugar Land, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Sugar Land.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sugar Land already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sugar Land breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sugar Land paves the way for another one to be saved.
