Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sampson is a 14 month old poodle mix. He was rescued from life on the streets in Houston, TX and is now in foster care in CT. He is a low-shedder and seems completely housebroken. He is very well-behaved in the house and is content to lay on the couch or his bed all day. He doesn’t require a ton of exercise but enjoys his time at the park with his doggie foster brother. He seems to get along fine with other dogs, but is cautious of larger ones. Samson’s favorite place on earth is in a human lap! Preferable a female human! He would be happy to live in his foster mom’s lap and adores attention. He can be slightly timid with males. Although he doesn’t look like one, he will remind you that he is still a puppy and will playfully nip when he feels you haven’t pet him quite enough! Sampson sleeps quietly in his bed all night and doesn’t rise until morning. He adores treats and knows sit. Sampson is not a big barker and has not exhibited any destructive behavior. His leash skills are great and he will also walk alongside his human without a leash (in safe areas) and comes when called. Sampson is truly a wonderful, silly boy, who is clearly overjoyed to have been rescued and is seeking a forever home that will give him all the love he deserves. He’s one in a million! He was treated for heartworm and is now on a monthly preventative.
