We are now open both Saturday & Sunday! Saturday's from noon-5pm & Sunday's from noon-4pm.
CHANCE is a gorgeous Chocolate Point Siamese Boy. For his entire life (8 years), Chance belonged to an elderly man and was obviously pretty spoiled as of course he should have been! When Chance’s owner passed, the family took Chance to a shelter to be euthanized. The shelter luckily had a good staff and would not euthanize! They tried to get Chance adopted, but he was so stressed from losing his only family and being taken out of his only home, that he stopped eating. They asked Kitty City to help out and we took Chance in. Once he got back into a home situation, his foster home, he started eating again. He has since been neutered and fully vetted and is doing very well! Chance is still quite shy and unsure about new people and he kind of has that chocolate point Siamese attitude – 'the world is mine and I will tell you how it is run' ;-) ..His new forever home will need to understand the Siamese attitude and be very patient while Chance learns who his new owner is. He has really come around with his foster mom so we know he will be fine with time!
Chance is around other kitties (all female) and he shows no interest in them nor is he aggressive towards them, but he has been introduced to them slowly and appropriately. He would probably do OK with other cats if appropriately introduced but he can also be an only kitty. He has been around cat-loving dogs and will likely be OK with other dogs if appropriately introduced.
Chance was born approximately May 6, 2008, and his adoption fee is $55, or adopt 2 and the 2nd is half off. He is neutered, up to date on shots and worming, tested negative for feline leukemia and is entitled to a free well check from Mariposa Veterinary Wellness Center.
You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens Saturday's from 12pm-5pm or Sunday's from 12pm-4pm at our adoption center which is located at 12800 Santa Fe Trail Drive in Lenexa, Kansas, 66215.
