Ozri's Story...
Hello to all you Pug Lovers! I am Ozri, but foster Mom calls me Ozzy because she thinks I am a rock star. I am a 9-year-old pug gent! I think the first thing you should know about me is I am blind. I can't see anything so you will have to give me some time to get used to my new surroundings. But when I do you will see I am just like everybody else. I am very lovable and love to lay in your lap and maybe give you a smooch or two. I like to chew on Nyla bones and I try to play with toys. Sometimes I get scared when they squeak. I am housebroken after I figure out where the darn door is. I will use a doggie door if you have one. I am crate trained, but I don't have to be if it isn't a priority for you. I am pretty good at dinner time; I don't get aggressive. If you have cats or kids I don't mind, just let me get used to them. I would not mind if I had brothers or sisters, they could help me out learning how to get around my new place. I do have eye medicine that I will need for the rest of my life and you will not have any issues giving it to me. I think if you find me interesting you should really put me on your application at and mention me Ozri! I can’t wait to find my new forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ozri, a Grapevine Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Grapevine, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Grapevine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grapevine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grapevine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grapevine paves the way for another one to be saved.
