Tarragon Gardener's Story...
I'm One Of The Gardener Collection!
The “Gardener” transport is made possible by the generous customers of The Artful Gardener in Rochester NY who came out in support of Joyful Rescues during last February's 3rd Annual Cabin Fever Garden Party. The party is an annual animal rescue fundraising event hosted by The Artful Gardener.
Tarragon was born about April 13, 2015 and weighs about 13 lbs. She is sweet as can be and just adorable! She is wonderful with the other dogs and all of us. This little thing will surely want to be a lap dog. We want to warn potential adopters that often these tiny dogs struggle with house training and potty floor pads may be necessary throughout their lives for those times when they just can't hold it that long. Small dogs are not just shrunken large dogs, they have some unique characteristics. Please understand that we have no prior knowledge of this dog and we will be learning as we go and so will you.
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $300.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
