Rousey's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rousey's Story...
Rousey got her name for 2 reasons...1. she is part Boxer and 2. she had a rough start in life and had to fight (figuratively) to live because she had a horrible case of hookworms that were literally killing her. Ms. Rousey is about 11 weeks old and currently weighs 7 pounds. This girl is a sweetheart who loves to snuggle and actually "hugs" you! She is playful but calm, not a "hyper" puppy at all. She loves to play with other dogs and is doing well on puppy pad training. Rousey is being fostered in West TN and will be transported once her adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add this girl to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out the online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rousey, a Staunton Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
