Sasha's Story...
Hello..I'm Sasha and I'm here because I killed our neighbor's chickens. I had an invisible fence and it is unclear how I got onto the neighbor's property. However, since I had to live outside, I didn't receive a lot of attention from my people and It got lonely and boring out there without them. My person said that I did well with the dog I lived with and the children I visited, and that I love people, toys, playing and car rides. I'm a high energy girl who needs an active person with the time and energy to spend WITH me every day for play and exercise. I need to be included in things - be a real household member. And I'm looking forward to living the inside life. Please be consistent and realistic in your expectations and give me lots of love and praise as I'm learning what you expect. Most dogs that have lived outside are easy to potty train because they are used to pottying outside. A routine, scheduled meal times and lots of positive reinforcement when I'm successful should help a lot. Please come in and get to know me better.
My adoption fee includes my spay, up to date shots, nationally registered microchip, and more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Evansville German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Evansville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
