Meet Hank.... This big goofy boy is an 8 year old Lab/Newfoundland mix. He is a very happy boy who lives being around other dogs and people. Despite his size, he is sweet as can be. He walks well on a leash and loves pack walks. He is potty trained and knows many commands. Oh, he also likes to give lots of kisses when the opportunity arises.
Our Sweet Hank will need to be adopted into a home that has knowledge re: food aggression. We believe Hank was starved as a young dog, so he is very protective of his food bowl. He will need to eat in a room by himself. He does not show any aggression with receiving treats. He takes treats very gently. We do not recommend Hank be around little children due to the fact that they tend to carry their food around the house. Hanky might think it's his.
This big love has a lot to offer to the right person or family. He would love the opportunity to keep your spot on the couch warm and ride shotgun in your truck! Please consider our boy Hank when you think about adding a pet to your family!

About Providing for Paws

About Our Rescue Group...

Providing for Paws goal is to help keep animals out of shelters and rescues and stay in their family homes, by providing food for family pets when in need. As well as lessen the homeless pet population by requiring all animals in the home to be spayed/neutered and vaccinated through Providing for Paws. Although no one will EVER be turned down for food assistance with or without spaying or neutering their pet. We ask that once the family is financially stable, to donate back to us for the next animal in need. Occasionally we are in the position to be able to help an animal with rescue. We do have animals available for adoption.
