My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet boy is approx 10 years old and 20 lbs. He looks like a mini schnauzer/yorkie mix. He is just adorable, very well behaved, gets along with all of the other dogs, does well on a leash and seems to be well house trained. He just does his own thing and wanders around the yard and likes to curl up in a corner to sleep. He had some dental work done and has an age related low grade heart murmur, that the vet does not see an issue with. He is truly a wonderful dog and is going to be a great companion.

The total adoption donation of $375 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. .

Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law adds an additional cost of $125.
