Angie's Story...
Angie is a super friendly girl, and loves everyone. She is good with the dogs in her foster home, and the kitties too! Angie came into her first rescue pregnant and heartworm positive. After nursing nine puppies, and being the special girl Angie is, heartworm treatment was done. Angie came to HELP for cage rest and is now done with her medical hold.
Angie is 4 years of age, DOB of 6-7-13, a Lab X shepherd, and maybe some Aussie or Husky as she has a bit of blue in each eye.
She weighs 66.80 #'s of sweetness and loyalty. Although she has a partially torn off ear and is not especially photogenic, Angie is beautiful inside and out. She is housetrained, kennel trained, and is well past the chewing stage. She would make a wonderful companion dog for almost any family. Angie is not much of a barker, and listens well. With a basic companion dog class, some lucky family would have a Best Friend for life. Angie is enjoying the life of being an inside girl, with good food, warmth in the winter, cool in the summer, and Love every day. Angie will make one lucky family or person very happy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angie, a St. Charles Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in St. Charles, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in St. Charles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Charles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Charles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Charles paves the way for another one to be saved.
