Tamale's Story...
Hi, I'm Tamale and I'm a lot of fun! I love to play, play, play. I run, I jump, I pounce, I do it all. I love to play with others, whether it's my older foster siblings (cat or dog), my foster parents, or even a broom! That's right, don't expect to get too much cleaning done when it's time to play. My favorite toy is anything with crinkles or feathers. I love to carry them around the house and play keep away from my brother. After a long day of playing, I like to take time to relax and cuddle. You read that right – I like to cuddle as well! My foster mom thinks I'm part Ragdoll because when I'm ready to cuddle, I just melt in your arms and soak in all the rubs I can handle! If you're in my vicinity, I'll crawl right up in your lap. So if you're looking for a fun loving and cuddly boy, you've found me! Take me home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tamale, a Smithfield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Smithfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Smithfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
