These beautiful girls were abandoned in the basement of a rental that the tenants ran out on. 30+ rats in a 10 gallon tank, no food or water and a filthy environment, likely used as feeders. Thankfully, the landlord found them, got them in clean bins separated by gender with food and water, and then gave them to her nephew, who transferred some to Fur Angels shortly after. Despite their ordeal, these girls are sweet beyond belief! One of the girls loves to jump onto hands and hang out with people, and all of them run right up to people! 12 girls were originally surrendered, but because of preexisting respiratory distress, 7 sadly passed away. The remaining 5 have recovered well and are waiting for their new home. One has a permanent head tilt, but it is not harmful. All of them are small, and may never reach adult rat size. Ideally, we would like to keep all 5 together, as they are all very bonded and given their recent loses, might not take separation well, but we can separate if necessary. The adoption fee for all 5 is $35. They all seem to be between 2-4 months old. Please visit http://furangelsas.com/apply-today/ to fill out an application.
