Chunk's Story...
O hai! My name is Chunk! Soon after I was born, my owners abandoned the house I lived in, shutting the doors tight and turning off the air conditioning. I had no food and no water, and wasn’t very far away from dying when a brave lady saw me crying at her through a window while walking by the house. She knew no one was inside and she knew no one was coming back, so she broke through the back door and rescued me! I was dehydrated and in very bad condition. No one knows just how long I was left to fend for myself in that abandoned house, but I know I was so scared! But I feel SO MUCH BETTER now and am getting stronger each and every day! Like all kittens I am very curious. I am still learning that there are nice people that will love me, so please don’t mind me if I run away from you at first. Eventually I will come peeking out and let you pet me, especially if I hear some delicious cat kibbles falling into the food bowl! Please consider taking me into YOUR HOME and keeping me forever, and showing me that there really are good people in the world who would never abandon their cat like I was abandoned.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chunk, a Tampa Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
