Bob's Story...
Bob and his brother Billy were brought to our rescue after being abandoned by their mom. They have been bottle-fed since birth, May 2, 2016. Bob is a total snuggle bug, loves to play with toys and hang out with the adult cats in his foster home. He is constantly giving his foster mom kisses. Bob has short fur, and is a buff tabby with white feet and tummy. Bob loves the Cat Dancer toy--he plays with it until he is panting.

Bob is quite bonded with is brother Billy, so we would like to see these guys adopted together. Both have been neutered, have age-appropriate vaccinations and a Home Again microchip for identification. Adoption fee is $60 per kitten.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bob, a Manitowoc Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Manitowoc, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Manitowoc.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manitowoc already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manitowoc breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manitowoc paves the way for another one to be saved.
