Sadie's Story...
Hi, Sadie here! My brother, Sage and I were brought into the shelter as strays. We were scared and needed some lovin'. After St. Francis rescued us from that scary place, we went into foster care. It's been nice having so many toys to play with. Sometimes I can't chose which one I want, so I start pouncing on them all. I love to wander off and explore. I am a very brave kitty, if I can say so myself! I also made a friend with a big kitty friend who I love to follow around the house and play with. Sage and I would love a furrrever home together.
Love, Sadie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
