Petey's Story...
Meet Petey! Petey is an 8-10 month old Boxer mix who weighs around 35 pounds. Petey is a quick learner who is treat motivated which has led to him learning “sit” in relatively short time. He would do best as an only dog. He has not been around cats yet but due to his young age we feel he may be ok around them. An ideal home for Petey would provide him with daily exercise as he absolutely loves to run around and play, a fenced yard, give him that one on one attention he loves to receive and continue his training. Petey is house and crate trained but at 8-10 months old he still has a good amount of puppy in him. He is current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and neutered. Petey comes to Revolution Rescue as one of nine dogs that were scheduled to be euthanized in a Kansas shelter due to a lack of space. If you are interested in meeting Petey complete an application from our website at and we will be in touch! Suggested adoption fee is $250.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petey, a Lincoln Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
