Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Amia is truly one of the sweetest little mamas around. It was difficult for me to even get good pictures of her because the minute you start paying attention to her, she flops onto your lap or onto the floor and rolls around begging for belly rubs and lovin's. Amia was rescued straight from the streets of South Central, LA. She had 3 nursing kittens with her, when her previous owners decided to move, and heartlessly leave this little family behind! Many people were willing to take her little kittens in, but no one wanted sweet mama Amia because she was full grown and not a cute little kitten. Well, when Kitty Devore Rescue heard about that, we immediately jumped into action and got this whole family safe that same night. We believe that ALL lives matter, not just kittens. :) Turns out - we struck gold with Amia!!!! If you're looking for a friendly, playful, funny cat - Amia is your gal. She has, of course, been spayed, vaccinated, treated medically, snap tested neg/neg - the whole works! Amia uses the litter box with pristine manners, and truly just wants her own family who will never abandon her again. It's a bit difficult to guess a cat's age accurately; our vets pace her age at 6-8 years old, which is the PURRfect age. :) Still lots of life in this girl - she plays and chases her toys as if she's a kitten herself! But she also loves to relax and watch the latest episode of House Hunters with her human as well. After a warm up period, she now tolerates my doggies, so she would get along fine with a respectful dog. She does well with most other cats as well, after an intro period.
Please consider this pretty girl... you won't be sorry. :)
