The piggies were saved after their owner posted a notice on the Internet that they would be left behind in a vacant house after the family moved. A kind-hearted person took them in and provided vet care in the interim but could not keep them permanently.
Filbert and Nigella have an excellent appetite and enjoy fresh vegetables, piles of hay and Oxbow Cavy Performance pellets every day. The pair will need to live in a Cubes and Coroplast cage of at least 2 cubes by 4 cubes and be in a family part of the house so everyone can enjoy their company. We also ask that anyone adopting her lives a reasonable driving distance from Rockville, MD.
The adoption fee for Filbert and Nigella will be $80. If you are interested in finding out more about adopting this sweet pair of guinea pigs, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
