Brandy's Story...
Hello, I'm Brandy. I'm a very loving Heart worm positive female Red Heeler. After the devastating news of my owner's passing I was left alone. I was left to become homeless. So my friends here at the shelter took me in and are giving me lots of love until my new family comes to pick me up. I love to sit on the porch and I know when u need a kiss. If you need to chat, I'm all ears. Don't worry about me getting along with other dogs, I love to play. I turn 1 year old on the 18th of July. Will you help me get my treatment or become my new family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brandy, a Gadsden Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler for sale in Gadsden, or seeking a Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Gadsden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gadsden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gadsden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gadsden paves the way for another one to be saved.
