Facts about Summer

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 10170930-16-0032

Summer is a 40 lbs, 3-1/2 year old yellow lab mix

Sweet and friendly Summer enjoys walking/running the trails and meeting calm dogs and nice people. Summer loves being near her humans and sharing the sofa with her dogs/humans. She has never acted aggressively. She sleeps in her kennel at night, but will let you know if she's feeling lonely.   Joyful, playful, and sweet can best describe Summer. She likes to nibble on your hands and feet (a sign of affection) *cutest thing ever* She is potty trained and she has never had an incident inside.

Summer currently lives with 2 dachshunds and a 4 year old human. Summer gets along well with humans(big and small) and dogs alike. She loves to share the sofa and wants to be near her family, especially when she turns over and asks for belly rubs. Will you give Summer belly rubs?

If you have any questions, please contact hhfrescue@gmail.com.  If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application at www.hhfrescue.org.  Thank you for considering a rescued dog!

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is an additional $10.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip. If adopting a puppy, the rabies and spay/neuter will be done at the same time by our vet once they are 4 months old and billed to us. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
