Monica's Story...
Hi, I’m one of the five Friends and will soon be looking for my furever home. Will it be with you? I’m a beautiful Tortie girl kitty. I know, I know, we’ve all heard about the Tortitude kitties like me have, but what’s a gorgeous Tortie girl to do? I do kind of know what I want and when I want it, but I’m not really too diva-ish about my demands. I’m happy to let you know what I need; it’s up to you fulfill my desires. I also love to play. Balls and other rolling things are probably my favorites. I also like chasing feather toys. I will be happy as a single cat, but wouldn’t mind having a subservient friend or two as long as we all recognize that I am the center of your world. That’s not too much to ask, is it? I’ll reward your devotion by crawling up to your neck to snuggle and purr for as long as you’ll let me. Can we go home now?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monica, a Rocklin Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rocklin, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Rocklin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rocklin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rocklin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rocklin paves the way for another one to be saved.
