Bama's Story...

Meet Bama! Bama is a cute, cuddly little 8 week old guy that came to us along with his sister Jersey (Sorry, they will not be adopted together). They were found dumped on a County road in a box, taken to Bradshaw Shelter, and now we are lucky enough to be able to offer this little guy up for adoption! He is a sweetheart and is willing and eager to please. He is a wonderful pup looking for his forever home. Interested in meeting Bama? Contact Chako Pit Bull Rescue and Advocacy at chakoadoptions2@gmail.com.

If you are interested in adopting any Chako dog, please go to our website at www.chako.org on your computer or smartphone and fill out an adoption application and someone will contact you by telephone within 24 hours. We are located in Sacramento, California. If you currently own a dog(s) and you want to adopt from Chako, you must be willing to bring your dog(s) to the meeting we arrange. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bama, a Sacramento American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
