I am Sweetie Pie, a Labrador retriever mix about two years old and approximately 45 pounds. Humans tell me I am spayed and up to date on shots. I live up to my name as I am a very sweet, lovable dog who likes to cuddle. I am shy at first especially with men but get along well with dogs, cats (would you believe I live with seven cats!) and children. I would do best with another confident dog to help me get through my shyness. Also in my past life I was a part of a pack. Please consider me if you want to extend your pack!
Although I am housebroken, sometimes I have to go out a few times before I do what I am supposed to do. I get distracted with the noises around me, birds (the next door neighbor has all kinds of bird feeders) and sometimes get playing with my dog brother. I love walks (and am getting much better walking on a leash), squeaky toys (just got my first one!) and chewing on a peanut butter filled bone. Having lived outdoors my whole life in a pen, I love being indoors watching my foster mom do all kinds of tasks as it's a whole new world for me! Sometimes I get afraid when I see something for the first time outside or with loud noises so I need someone who is patient with me. I am crate trained but sometimes need a treat to go in. My foster mom and dog brother are teaching me how to play as I never had toys before. I am learning commands and am told I am smart.
