Facts about GOONIE

  • Breed: Shih Tzu Mix
  • Color: White - With Black
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Goonie may only have 1 eye, but he rarely takes his eye off his person. We don't know why he lost his eye. Goonie is about 8 -10 years old. He is very mellow and a bit shy. He gets along very well with all the other small dogs at his foster Mom's house. He loves to be outside, so a back yard is a must. A window to look outside is important too. Goonie rarely barks, is housebroken, rides well in the car, and really loves belly rubs. He will sleep in your bed, on a dog bed, or in a crate. Surely, you can find room in your heart and your home for this little one.
NOTE: To find out more about Goonie or make arrangements to meet him, please call his foster parent, Jan, at 435.635.0515. His adoption fee is $100.

About Because Animals Matter

About Our Rescue Group...

BAM is a nonprofit, animal welfare group dedicated to reducing animal abuse and neglect through education. We also help support our local shelters by taking animals into foster care. BAM does not have a shelter or public facility. All of our animals stay in homes of caring individuals who volunteer their time to help socialize and train them so they are ready for their new families. We are willing to transport our animals any where in the US if the family is the right fit.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Donations can be made made on Facebook and at our web page.

Come Meet Our Pets...

BAM has adoption events every month in S.W. Utah. Watch Facebook and our web page for dates and location. We do not have a facility and all of our pets are lovingly cared for in private foster homes. Arrangements to see the pet you are interested in much be made with the foster parent.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopting a forever friend can be easy. Just call or e-mail and we can make arrangements for a personal visit. Phone lines are open between 9am-4pm, if no one is available be sure to leave a detailed, clear message with name and phone number. Our animals are healthy, up to date on their shots and spayed or neutered. Adoption fees range from $0 to $200. This may differ depending on breed and the age of the dog. Adoption fees cover the costs for spay/neuter, shots and some training provided while the animal is in foster care.
