My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Raine, a sweet and affectionate 2 year old Pit bull mix. Raine was recently returned here to the shelter from her foster home who provided us with some great insight into things she will need in her 'fur'ever home. Here is what they had to say about miss Raine:

"As soon as she felt settled she came out of her shell and was so silly & funny. She runs faster than any dog I've seen. A few times she'd go so fast that her legs couldn't keep up any longer.
She had just started really learning to play and especially loved chasing her little orange squeaker. She loved going crazy & running wildly with her rope & throwing it around & chasing it.
She would collect all the stuffed animals in the house and put them on our bed and lick them, arrange them just so & cuddle in and take a nap.
She walks great on the leash, especially loves jogging alongside her person.
She knows sit, is getting really good at stay, knows leave it, and was working really hard on down.
She is really good in the car and would usually either watch all the cars or lay down & nap. Not interested in putting her head out the window.
She is so affectionate & gives the best kisses & snuggles. She was amazing in that she can go from 100% wild & crazy to naptime immediately when it was time to calm down. She would sleep in until the last human was out of bed and was by my side all day long."

We also learned that Raine would do best in a home with no small animals, and no young kids. Contact the shelter for more information!
