Sometimes life gets in the way and bad things happen to good people, and now Senorita Kia has to find a new home. She belonged to a handyman who does odds and ends kind of work around the Nashville, TN area. He was forced to move and could not find a place that will allow him to have his dogs. This generous and kind man took in this pretty girl when he found her abandoned near a job he was working on. Kia is a healthy 8-9 year old Yellow Lab mix girl weighing about 50 lbs and is to date on her shots and healthy. The hyper puppy stage is long behind her now and she would be great if you are looking for a calmer dog to spend your easier less active years with. She is a bit shy and does need you to approach her calmly to get to know you first. Scared during bad weather, she will climb in your bed and ask for reassurance. All other nights she will be close by and would love a dog bed of her own as long as it is close to yours. She is great in the house and on the leash, rides in the car in a crate and gets out very well. Matter of fact, she will be by you if you are on the computer or watching TV. She is not a fan of cats, gets along with most dogs, maybe not very small ones since in her foster family there are currently 4 male dogs and she has become part of the family. With summer in full blast, Kia loves the cool A/C air inside and you find her often times by one of the floor vents.
