Juliet's Story...
Can u seriously stand the cuteness? I know I can't. Will u look at this precious peanut???

This is Juliet. A 2-3 yr old chi/rat terrier mix. She is seriously as sweet as she looks. While she may be tiny -she has the heart of a lion! She has SOOOOO much love to give. She is great with other dogs and would be fine with kids (although she is super tiny so young kids may not be such a great idea).

Juliet was diagnosed with an eye condition that makes her at risk for detachment of the lens of her eyes. It is a genetic condition found in chihuahuas. We have had her evaluated and treated with a canine ophthamologist so we spared no expense in getting this treated correctly. She will be on eye drops for her lifetime to prevent the detachment from occurring.

Adoption fee $375 and includes health exam, up to date on vaccines, microchip, deworming, and spay. Also, 30 days of free pet health insurance is included. She is the PERFECT itty bitty companion :)

Application can be found on our website www.RDRanimalrescue.org!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Juliet, a Franklinville Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Franklinville, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Franklinville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Franklinville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklinville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklinville paves the way for another one to be saved.
