About T.A.R.A. | Adopt | Volunteer | Donate

Amelia, Higgins, Inky and Mario all came to TARA when their owners unfortunately couldn’t care for them any longer due to a change in health status and living situation.

Amelia surprised us by being pregnant and was a wonderful mom to her kittens (all adopted). It is now Amelia's time to be cared for and be the center of attention for a very lucky family! Amelia likes to chat and to let you know when she wants more love. She is very affectionate and enjoys pets and cuddles. Amelia is also quite playful and she likes to explore new places. She enjoys teaser toys, climbing cat towers, and using scratchers.

Amelia and her buddies have been together for years and seem lonely when they’re not with other cats. Each of them will need a feline buddy or two in their adoptive homes.

Adoption Fee: $65

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV Combo test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.

Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed.

Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat.

Interested in this pet? Please fill out a non-binding application. Our goal is to find life-long matches between animals and families, and the application provides us with a lot of information to help us help you find that match!
