Leo's Story...
Meet Leonidas aka Leo to his nearest and dearest! Leo is a gorgeous large 2 year old cat that was an owner surrender. He was very timid and traumatized when he came into our care and it has taken him a little while to adjust to the hustle and bustle of a loud busy household filled with little kids and cats and dogs! He lived a solitary life before and our house was a shock to his senses! He has adapted so very well and has taken to family living just wonderfully!

Although he is rather shy and enjoys his own company, Leo loves rolling onto his back to get his belly tickled and is so sweet when looking for attention! He is playful and loves his toys and he is so excited to find his FORever home! I really hope it is with you!

You may talk with his foster mom by emailing info@FORrescue.net. If you'd like to meet him, please complete the cat application at www.FORrescue.net. There is no obligation, it is simply our starting point. Leo is located in Madison, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
