Holly's Story...
Holly is a true delight!! She is a very happy 5 month old girl who loves to be with her people and play with other dogs (and cats if they would ever consider playing back). She is quick to adjust to new situations and fits in immediately. She LOVES toys, and she has never met a stranger! A fenced yard is a must for this sweet girl. She has a few insecurities with loud noises - until she gets use to them, and doorways unless you are right beside her, but she is conquering those quickly. She is still working on walking on a leash but does fine if other dogs are around. She knows sit and does so for her treats. She is crate trained and about 90% house trained – you need to watch for her clues that she needs to go out. She does well with a routine. She wiggles from one end to the other when new people walk into the room and loves attention! She is eager to settle into her forever home! She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on trifexis. You can fill out an app for this sweet girl here: http://forrescue.net/animal/dog/. Tell them Holly sent you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holly, a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
