Daphne is a sweet young cat who has just finished being a fantastic mom to three kittens, who have all been adopted into forever homes. Daphne is now looking for her own perfect forever spot.

Daphne is a small, elegant, black cat who likes affection from her people – rubs, belly rubs and more rubs. She will follow you around, offer head butts and enjoy being in your space. Then she is very content to be off on her own quietly exploring, looking out the window or napping in a comfy spot.

Daphne needs a home that is adult-only and where she is the only furry pet, with patient humans who will give her time to adjust to new surroundings and new people. She is frightened by changes and new people, but warms up quickly when she learns to trust. It would help Daphne adjust to a new home if she had one room to get used to at a time – to learn the sounds, smells and people in her new home and to get comfortable in her new surroundings.

As her foster mom would say, “Daphne is one of the sweetest cats I’ve ever met. It just took her some time to settle in and show it."
