Cheese's Story...
Cheese is such a funny girl! She is so quiet in her crate and so gentle with kids! She is doing well with her house training. She is leash training and doing great as well! We have videos of her and her sister, Crackers, on the Tess K9 Rescue Facebook page. We think she is a Golden Retriever/Lab mix. She is about 16 weeks old and lots of fun! She loves to run through the yard and flop and play! She loves her toys and like to carry them around with her. Her adoption fee is $250. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on her shots. Please let us know if you think you are her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheese, a East Hartford Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in East Hartford, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in East Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
