Fenway's Story...
This handsome little guy is Fenway. He is such a sweetheart. He loves to play, and run around, but then he wants to cuddle while he naps. He also loves to 'help' his foster mom with her crafts. He's a great little companion, and he likes to be close to his humans. He is fostered in a house full of cats and dogs, and he gets along great with everybody.
He is fostered in Huntsville AL, but is not fussy about where his forever home is, as long as he is loved.
Fenway has been neutered, micro-chipped, and is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. If interested in adopting him, please email info@forrescue.net, or better yet, fill out our adoption application at www.forrescue.net/cat-application. It doesn't bind you to anything, it just helps to get the process started.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fenway, a Homewood Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
