Joshua REdman's Story...
Introducing Joshua Redman. He's looking for a home in St. Louis, MIssouri.

A robust cat with the meow of a baby kitty, Joshua loves attention and petting. He will talk to you to ask you to pet him! Though shy at first, he is very social and even prefers to eat when you are near. And he adores the company of other cats.

Joshua tests positive for FIV. Many people do not realize that cats with FIV can lead a long, healthy life. It is only transmitted to other cats by deep bites, and Joshua is not a biter of cats. FIV is never transmitted to humans or other species such as dogs. Please ask for more information!

Joshua came to us from an animal control. As a slightly shy cat, he was not doing too well there, but it didn't take him long to show his true sweet colors in his foster home.

Won't you come meet this sweet cat? He'd be so grateful to find a real home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joshua REdman, a St. Louis Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
