Latte is a 7 lb, 2 year old chihuahua/terrier girl. She came in July with her mom Periwinkle (who is with her in the last pic) and three other relatives- Kaleidoscope, Autumn, and Gingerella. All are sweet and tiny girls who get along great and are good with kids. They were turned in by a home that had too many dogs to take care of. Kaleidoscope is the friendliest one. Latte is papertrained and cratetrained but not leashtrained. She is a little shy, but she is not aggressive. Once she bonds with someone, she loves to be cuddled. She doesn't mind meeting new people. She enjoys getting treats and takes them gently. She is a very bright girl. She has been getting along with the other dogs here and likes playing with them. She does try to get into mischief- she'll climb on a desk to look for treats! But she is overall a very well behaved girl.

For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section where very thorough instructions await. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, micorchipped, and fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.
The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs! No more weekend mobiles—only special events. Maybe if there are enuff appointments, we could see you in El Monte or Orange County or nearby. Email your application and ask for more details!
Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!
