Kenai's Story...

Hello!  My name is Kenai   I am very affectionate and loving dog to my foster mom and love to hang out with her while she does farm chores and in the house wherever she is at.  I like  to hang out with dogs my size.  I do prefer the submissive female dogs.  I was saved from euthanisia at the last minute at a city kill shelter where my owner surrendered me. I am crate trained, and potty trained.  I walk well on a leash and like car rides.   I weigh about 50 lbs.  I would do best in an active home with or without children over 8 years old and maybe start out as a single dog.  For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with Paws Without Borders and other rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees. You can contact us directly at info@dogdiggityrescue.com, visit our website at www.dogdiggityrescue.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenai, a Olympia Labrador Retriever/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Husky for sale in Olympia, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Husky dog from a breeder in Olympia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olympia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olympia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Husky breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olympia paves the way for another one to be saved.
