Duke's Story...

Hello!  My name is Duke!  I have been patiently waiting for my active home where an active family will enjoy my companionship.  I am very affectionate, loving and athletic brindle Boxer mix.  I love my humans and just hanging out with you anywhere in the house and with all my dog friends.   I was raised with small children and other dogs. I am crate trained and know basic obediance.  I am medium to high energy, but I am not an obnoxious teen Boxer.  I will do great with an active home that will take me for walks, runs, hikes and adventures.  I will do great with another companion dog too to help keep me entertained.  For being a Boxer mix I am a great family companion dog.  If you are willing to give me a 15+ year home, please contact my foster parents at L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with Paws Without Borders and other rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Olympia Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Olympia, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Olympia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olympia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olympia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olympia paves the way for another one to be saved.
