Fiona's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Fiona's Story...
Fiona and her brother Shrek were surrendered to a high kill shelter in South Carolina for no fault of their own. We were in the right place at the right time when we swooped these little sweethearts and brought them into a safe and loving foster. Fiona has turned out to be nothing but a true pleasure. She is great with all the other foster dogs, wonderful and submissive with the children and is grateful to have a safe place to rest. Fiona appears to be about 8 months old. Although we cannot be certain what her true mix is, Fiona may be a long haired doxy or a combination of other adorable breeds. We are giving her shots, spay and microchip. If you would like to bring Fiona to your forever home, please copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html Full vetting and transport up north included in her $450 adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiona, a Westport Dachshund/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Westport, or seeking a Dachshund/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Dachshund/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
