Pharoah's Story...
Pharoah is a magnificent 2 year old neutered male who is good with dogs and with family. He has not been cat tested but is ok with small dogs. He is a medium to high energy dog and needs at least two 30-45 minute walks daily to feel comfortable. He still has his puppy energy and is playful, enjoying balls and toys. He loves car rides, the beach, long walks, hiking in the mornings and sniffing through the grass. He loves sitting on the sofa in the evenings and watching tv with you or listening to music. He enjoys the company of other dogs but needs to be properly introduced. He is protective of his house and his people so he needs good leadership to be appropriate. He is good with others when properly introduced by his person. He is a very happy, energetic dog who loves being with his family.

Pharoah is house trained and house socialized, knows his basic commands, and is crate trained. He has all his shots including rabies and is microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pharoah, a San Diego German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in San Diego, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
