Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blitz is a nice friendly Border Collie mix (maybe). He's one year old and weighs 60 lbs. He's good with adults and children, with dogs and probably cats. He's young so needs regular exercise and a fenced yard...preferably 6 foot (not invisible fence). Blitz is crate trained but is not destructive if left alone in the house. He's a nice family dog that is being rehomed because of divorce. He rides well in the car and loves to play with toys...and does not destroy them. Blitz is new to our rescue and we will update this posting as we learn more about him.
(An adoption donation of $250 is required.) If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email CHEW Dog Rescue at pawsontherun@gmail.com and ask for the adoption application form. If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
