Trumpet Lily's Story...
Trumpet Lily's Story...
I'm one of the Lily Transport!
In 2014 Joyful Rescues returned from Tennessee with a little dog they called Fuzzy. One look at her photo and we knew she was "the one". Every day with this happy pup, now named Lily, reminds us of the tremendous gift Joyful Rescues gave us by saving her life. So we dedicate this transport to Lily so that she, along with us, can "pay it forward" giving more beautiful animals a chance at a happy life. Sincerely The Artful Gardener (727 Mt. Hope Ave., Rochester, NY)
Trumpet was born about June 18, 2014 and weighs about 10 lbs. He is here with his son, Star Gazer. Everyone in the Lily transport was named after types of lilies. Trumpet and Star Gazer aka PJ were taken in on an abuse case after someone witnessed and videotaped the owner kicking them! The shelter won in court and the owner was forced to give up the dogs - thankfully!!!! These two are just adorable, but Trumpet can have some fear issues and may be nippy when he is frightened. So, no little kids and we hope that with love and patience he will forget the past and forgive those "humans". We have no other information on this duo except when comfortable they are extremely sweet and loving. We do want to mention that often these tiny breed dogs do struggle with house training and potty floor pads may benefit you and the dog in the future. They are both wonderful with other dogs. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $325.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
