Meet Pedro. This spunky senior is quirky and fun and we have all fallen in love with him. Pedro is crate trained, house trained and loves to be loved. Pedro loves to go for walks and is so proud to belong to someone. He takes a day or so to get used to other dogs but after that he is just fine with everyone. Please give Pedro the home he deserves. This senior little guy is about 10-11 years old and still full of life. He does not deserve to live his remaining years in a rescue. He deserves a home. Adoption fee: $150 Please apply at

About Polka dogz pet rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We strive to educate the public on responsible pet ownership. We rescue many dogs with heartworms, injuries nad those who have been victims of severe neglect and/or abuse. Maverick is a perfect example. He is paralyzed and we work daily with him to hopefully help him walk again.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Meet and Greets are scheduled once we receive a pre adoption application. We respond within 24 hours to set up a convenient time and place. Our rescue is located in Winter Garden but sometimes the dogs you are looking at may be in foster homes. We also go to West Orange Dog Park in Winter Garden, FL every Sunday and Thursday 10-11 am and we participate in many events.
Follow us on facebook for the most current info on events and pets!

Our Adoption Process...

FIRST step is to fill out a pre adoption application ( We check vet references, personal references and do home visits before adopting any pet. We also help match the right pet to the right home. All current pets in household must be spayed/neutered and on heartworm prevention (very important)
Adoption fees help us support all the dogs in our rescue, some of which cost thousands in medical bills. Thank you for caring about the greater good!
