Virgil's Story...
Virgil is a mature gentleman looking for his forever home. He is a sweet boy who loves to curl up in your lap while you shower him with affection. We don't know much about his life before the shelter but he came in with stitches in his little stub tail. Virgil is a confident cat who would do well in a home with older, respectful children. He is fine with other kitties as he came in with 2 other cats. A cat savvy dog would be alright. Virgil may be a bit older but he still has a lot of love to give. If you are interested in meeting this fabulous boy, please fill out an application at customer service.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Virgil, a Bellingham Turkish Van cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Van for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Turkish Van cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Van breeders who help with Turkish Van rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
