Hi my name is Buttercup! I am a very nice girl I have had quite the life this far! Sadly because my original owners didn’t care about me I found myself homeless and pregnant all before a year old. Lucky for me someone spotted me sitting on the fence trying to find food for myself. They scooped me up and took me to a Fuzzy Pawz Rescue volunteer knowing that FPR would help me and they did. I was pretty sick with an upper respiratory infection and VERY pregnant; they nursed me back to health and I had 5 beautiful babies.
I was a phenomenal mommy, I even took on other babies and raised them as my own until they were all old enough to find families of their own. Now it is my turn to find my forever family.
I am not sure yet if I like other cats yet, I tolerate them but if they get too close to me I will swat them. I think it is because I was out on my own and they used to pick on me a lot! I'm pretty sure as I start to feel safe again that living with another cat or two would be perfectly fine; especially if my people do proper introductions! I’ve never been around dogs but again with a nice introduction and a bit of time if they are nice to me I think I can be nice to them.
I am a very loving girl and just want to be a part of someone's family! I love lap time, laying in the sunshine and just hanging out with my people; I’d be happy to live in any family that will love me.
