Dutchess's Story...
Meet Dutchess, a sweet Labrador Retriever/Boxer lady who is a charming wallflower in need of a home in which there is already a dog. She will gain confidence if she has a canine companion of her own, to help teach her how to be a confident girl. She had been an outside dog, and needs to be housetrained by someone with gentle patience and consistent, positive training. Crate training will be an excellent tool in helping train her, and the example set by a resident dog will hasten her schooling. Do you have a canine friend who can help make a difference in the life of a sweet girl like Dutchess, come and meet her today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutchess, a Walker Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Walker, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Walker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walker paves the way for another one to be saved.
