Ike's Story...

Hello!   Ike  is a 5 year old Bloodhound mix that was found as a stray along with his best friend Mike. After several weeks of looking  his owners were never found. He's a big goofy fellow with a great smile. He and his buddy Mike are inseparable. They cry when they are apart from each other. Ike and Mike would like to be adopted together and have a new family with a yard they could play in. They would enjoy coming in and laying by your feet at night. These handsome boys are true heartbreakers. Contact us on how you can adopt this fabulous duo!  This is a courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society.   For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ike, a Olympia Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Olympia, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Olympia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olympia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olympia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olympia paves the way for another one to be saved.
