Sunflower is a three year Labrador Retriever mix that was rescued from SC along with her litter of puppies. As is usually the case, all her puppies were quickly adopted and more than two years later reserved Sunflower still waits. She is described by her caregivers as, `Always finding joy in the small things, and the best part of her day is spending time with us.` They also say, `She has one of the best smiles when she is happy and adores you, especially when she is in her comfort zone.` Sunflower is a laid back girl who takes time to acclimate to new situations. She will make a loyal companion to a patient owner willing to take the time to earn her trust. After spending so many years without a home, we would love nothing more than for Sunflower to find a place to spread her roots this holiday seasons.
